An Award Winning, multi-disciplined construction company are looking for an experienced Construction Planner to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend pre-tender meetings where required
- Produce information for pre-qualification documents when requested
- Review the 'buildability' of the project - working with Operations Teams where required
- Prepare Tender programmes
- Prepare temporary works schedules and analyse quotations received and advise the Estimator
- Work with the Estimator preparing Preliminary costs
- Advise the Managing Estimator of any tendering difficulties
- Prepare material in the agreed format for presentation to the Adjudication Panel and attend meetings when required
- Provide input to the handover process from estimating to contract
- Prepare labour resource histogram when applicable
- Attend meetings with Client, Designers, Quantity Surveyors etc where necessary
- Consider information passed on by Pre-Construction Director from Quarterly Reviews
- Attend site meetings and receive feedback
- Review tender programme operations against tender programme
- Compile and amend Contract programmes when requested
- Advise on programmes and progress when requested
Post Construction
- Maintain profile with current and past clients
- Review Contract performance against tender target
Key Skills and Qualifications
- HNC/HND in relevant discipline is preferred but not essential
- They must have a pro-active approach and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
- Seeking a driven and highly motivated individual
- Experience working with ASTA software is essential
