Up Front Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading North Yorkshire-based civil engineering and groundworks contractor who are looking for a groundwork site manager. The company have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential groundwork services. With over 150 directly employed staff and long-standing partnerships with some of the UK's biggest housebuilders, they are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join them.
As a Groundwork Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day groundworks operations across residential sites. Your key duties will include:
- Managing Health & Safety and Quality across the site
- Coordinating daily site activities and work schedules
- Working closely with a Contracts Manager
- Leading toolbox talks and carrying out site inspections
- Attending site meetings and reporting
- Maintaining accurate records, site permits and compliance
What They're Looking For:
- Proven experience in residential groundworks or civil engineering
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- CSCS Gold or Black Card - Level 4 minimum
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach
