M&E Buyer required for a leading M&E Contractor based in Essex who deliver large M&E projects on high end residential developments throughout the UK. Due to continued growth we are looking for a M&E buyer to join the procurement team. Training and development will also be offered depending on experience.

  • Source and procure materials and equipment
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Checking stock of items
  • Call off schedules, keeping them up to date and correct
  • Negotiating Prices
  • Plant hire schedules, keeping track of all plant
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials and equipment
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Keep track of spreadsheets
