M&E Buyer required for a leading M&E Contractor based in Essex who deliver large M&E projects on high end residential developments throughout the UK. Due to continued growth we are looking for a M&E buyer to join the procurement team. Training and development will also be offered depending on experience.
- Source and procure materials and equipment
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- Checking stock of items
- Call off schedules, keeping them up to date and correct
- Negotiating Prices
- Plant hire schedules, keeping track of all plant
- Raise purchase orders
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials and equipment
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
