Senior Planner

Construction Planner – Water / Gas / Comms (Contract)

Central London | £550 per day (Umbrella PAYE)

We’re recruiting for a Senior Planner to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering long-term infrastructure works across the water, gas and communications sectors. This is a contract role based full-time in Central London, working closely with operational and delivery teams on-site and in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Work directly with delivery teams to ensure accurate progress reporting and forecasting.
• Coordinate with engineers, commercial teams, and project managers to monitor progress and identify risks or delays.
• Produce lookaheads, resource histograms and progress updates for senior management and clients.
• Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Planner in the utilities sector (water, gas, and/or comms essential).
• Solid background in site-based planning and working closely with delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of civils and infrastructure construction methodologies.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 (preferred) or MS Project.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Additional Information:

• Contract: Long-term assignment
• Rate: £550 per day (Umbrella PAYE only)
• Location: Central London (office-based, 5 days per week)
