The predicted salary is between 22800 - 38000 £ per year.

We are working with an education provider in the Greater Manchester area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Workshop Trainer to join their engineering training team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The job role would consist of you delivering hands-on Mechanical Engineering to level 2/3 learners at their main training centre in Greater Manchester. They are able to consider applicants with both machining and mechanical maintenance biases, but their ideal candidate would have a mix of machining/fitting/maintenance skills.

The starting salary for this position is up to a maximum of £38,000 per annum, and the package would also include a pension (3% employee/5% employer), and 25 days holiday allowance (plus Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:

  • A level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Good experience of hands-on Mechanical Engineering
  • A passion for passing on your engineering knowledge

Please note that the education provider would be able to put you through your teaching qualification on the job if you do not have one already.

This role will involve work with under 18's or vulnerable adults. Any appointment will be made subject to strict vetting and screening checks and receipt of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
