We’re hiring a Lead Fitter to take charge of day-to-day mechanical operations and maintenance on a dynamic and growing manufacturing site. This is a great role for someone who’s ready to lead from the front and keep production running at peak performance.
The Role:
- Lead and prioritise preventative maintenance and urgent repairs
- Service granulators, crushers, hydraulics, and more
- Supervise and mentor Assistant Fitters
- Ensure safety standards, accurate reporting, and shift handovers
About You:
- Strong mechanical maintenance background with leadership experience
- Skilled in MIG welding, with knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and ideally PLCs
- Comfortable using Excel and reporting systems
- Proactive and safety-focused, with strong fault-finding ability
