We are seeking, on behalf of our esteemed client, a Window Frame / Glass Operative to join their existing team. The employee will be responsible for creating internal window frames and helping with glass.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with glass and operating overhead cranes.
- Take measurements and assemble sealer bars (Frames)
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Marking out dimensions using patterns
- Smoothing out rough edges with a belt sander
- Work in accordance with process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents
- Ability to follow the standard operating procedures in place to maintain safety and quality
- Maintain equipment
- Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work area
- Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
- Physically fit (this does require medium to heavy manual labour)
