Are you passionate about sport, fitness, and education? We’re looking for a motivated Lecturer in Sport Studies to deliver high-quality teaching, support student achievement, and contribute to course development within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to learners across a range of Sport Studies topics
  • Assess student work to ensure progression and achievement against national standards
  • Develop and improve course materials in line with industry and academic requirements
  • Provide pastoral support, guidance, and disciplinary oversight to students as needed
  • Represent the institution at recruitment events such as careers fairs and showcases
  • Participate in internal verification, audits, and quality assurance procedures to maintain high standards of delivery and learner experience

What We’re Looking For:

  • A BSc (or equivalent) in a Sport Science or Fitness-Related subject (applicants with strong industry experience also encouraged)
  • A Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Cert Ed/PGCE) or willingness to work towards one
  • A passion for inspiring learners and delivering excellence in sports education
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous professional development
  • A proactive, learner-focused attitude with a desire to contribute to course innovation and team collaboration
