This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Career Teacher who is looking to build confidence and start their teaching career in a school where they can excel. Teach Plus is collaborating with a vibrant and inclusive special school in Whetstone that caters to children aged 2 to 11 with a range of complex needs, including severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and physical disabilities. The school is committed to fostering a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to thrive academically and personally.

The school boasts an excellent track record of developing Primary Early Career Teachers, offering an extensive in-house ECT programme with additional training through the North West London Teaching School Hub.

As an Early Career Teacher, you will be required to:

  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with complex learning difficulties.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to implement personalised learning plans.
  • Engage with parents and carers to support pupils' learning and development.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

The ideal candidate for an Early Career Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve it by September 2025.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
