Gas Manager

We’re recruiting an experienced Gas Manager to lead the delivery of gas and mechanical compliance services for a leading housing association.  This is a 6-month fixed-term contract initially offering up to £450/day umbrella (inside IR35) and covers a large property portfolio with a budget responsibility of approx. £8 million. Key Details: Contract: 6-month FTC Rate: £350–£450/day Umbrella (Inside IR35) Location: Hybrid with travel across sites Direct Reports: 4 Role Overview: Manage outsourced servicing and maintenance contracts (gas, water, asbestos) Lead contractor performance, monthly meetings, and improvement plans Ensure full regulatory compliance across the property portfolio Support and lead a team of contract managers and technical staff Oversee budgets, forecasts and ensure value for money Drive service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational reporting Requirements: Gas Safe registered with CCN1 (essential) Strong compliance and project delivery background Experience across domestic/commercial gas and water systems Familiarity with L8 Legionella guidance and asbestos regulation Contract management and strategic leadership skills UK driving licence and flexibility for site visits Apply now to lead a high-impact compliance function and ensure safe, effective delivery across one of the UK’s largest housing portfolios
