Job Role: Senior CAD Technician – Water Sector Projects Location: Bristol or Exeter (Hybrid working available) Salary: Competitive, depending on experience About the role: Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a Lead CAD Technician to join their team, specialising in major projects within the water sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects, alongside a highly skilled team of Engineers and Technicians. The role offers hybrid working, with the flexibility to work from either the Bristol or Exeter offices. As a Lead CAD Technician, you will work with a range of 2D and 3D software, including Civil 3D and Revit. You will lead a small team of CAD Technicians and have the chance to mentor junior team members on best practices for CAD software. You will also be involved in the preparation of high-quality project drawings and BIM models, collaborating closely with engineers from various disciplines. Key responsibilities include: Preparing project drawings and BIM models, ensuring compliance with client CAD standards and BIM data requirements.
