Role purpose / summary
A digital identity verification Business Analyst needs a mix of technical and soft skills to effectively analyze, implement, and optimize digital identity verification processes. They should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with knowledge of relevant technologies and security concepts.
Key Skills/ requirements
- Must have collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure IAM solutions aligned with organization’s information and cybersecurity standards and principles.
- Defined the requirements for the configuration and management of SSO and MFA solutions to streamline user authentication and improve security across cloud and on-premise applications.
- Proficient in data analysis, data lineage, data profiling, master data management, metadata management, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data lake, data lakehouse, data governance, Big Data, AI/ML, reporting and data visualisation.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, security and cloud technologies such as Azure (Azure integration and data Services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks).
- Collaborated with Data Engineers to define data integration and orchestration requirements needed to design efficient pipelines.
- Must have worked on digital identity projects, single sign-on’s (SSO), biometrics, retina scans. NOT cyber security.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and use data to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) Concepts: Understanding of directory services, identity lifecycle management, and privilege management.
- Familiarity with technologies like REST, SCIM, Active Directory, LDAP, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of automation tools and concepts for streamlining verification processes.
- Ability to create clear and effective visualizations to communicate data insights.
Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, documenting processes, and presenting findings.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
