Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Proof of Delivery Clerk to join our logistics team. The Proof of Delivery Clerk will be responsible for verifying and recording the successful delivery of goods and services to customers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate documentation and facilitating smooth communication between drivers, customers, and internal departments. This role is Monday – Friday 10am-6pm Key Responsibilities: Document Verification: Review and verify delivery receipts, bills of lading, and other proof of delivery documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Data Entry: Input delivery information into the companys tracking system or database, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate. Customer Communication: Liaise with drivers and customers to confirm deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and address any concerns or issues. File Maintenance: Organize and maintain physical and electronic records of deliveries, ensuring they are easy to access and stored according to company policies. Reports: Generate and distribute daily, weekly, or monthly delivery reports to supervisors, managers, and other stakeholders. Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and escalate any delivery issues (e.g., damaged goods, missing items) to appropriate departments for resolution. Support Drivers: Assist delivery drivers with necessary paperwork, instructions, and clarifications regarding delivery routes or schedules. Compliance: Ensure all delivery documentation adheres to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Problem-Solving: Proactively address any issues that arise during the delivery process, ensuring minimal impact on customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Administrative based experience is preferred.
