About the Role

The HR Advisor at Gunstones Bakery is a pivotal HR Generalist role, a great opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor / Generalist looking for an exciting career opportunity within a market-leading manufacturing business. The role has a strong focus on employee relations, but also provides the opportunity to be actively involved in recruitment and other general human resources activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for ER queries, take the lead to support Managers with Employee Relation cases, while assessing and mitigating potential risk.
  • Develop effective on-going relationships at all levels, responding to queries directly and influencing managers to follow a best practice approach.
  • Ensure the accurate monitoring and recording of the case management system.
  • Support the HR team in the administration of the employee cycle processes ensuring that legal compliance is met.
  • Support the Head of HR in key people strategy projects such as staff surveys and external compliance audits.

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within HR with knowledge of case management, disciplinary and investigation, specifically Employee Relations cases ideally with regards to absences.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar HR role.
  • Employee Relations experience is essential (absence management primarily).
  • Strong people engagement skills.
  • Agility and quick problem-solving in dynamic, high-pressure environment.
