Job Title: Electrical Component Engineer Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Salary: up to £41,000 Hours: Monday to Friday – 0800 to 1630 Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Component Engineer looking to make a tangible impact in a dynamic, expanding environment? Our client is growing, and we're seeking a talented professional to join our team in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate across departments and ensure the seamless operation of our engineering processes. About the Role: As an Electrical Component Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining, maintaining, and improving the quality and performance of components used in our operations. Reporting directly to management, you will collaborate with procurement, quality assurance and operational teams to ensure every component meets technical specifications and supports the organisation's goals. Key Responsibilities: Define and set up new component master data and integrate it into the system. Analyse customer information, manufacturing BOMs and operational processes to define components for NPI products. Maintain and update material master data and BOMs, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Support the procurement team by defining technical parameters and validating samples. Manage engineering change notifications and track component life cycles (EOL, LTB).
