Based at our offices in Coalville, we are looking for someone to help manage changes to our recycling collection services. We currently operate a bag and box collection system and are changing to a twin wheeled bin collection service. This significant change to the waste and recycling collection service will affect every household in the district (circa 50,000 properties) and involves significant capital and revenue expenditure.
We are looking for someone to help manage the project delivery process from initial strategic planning through to feasibility, planning project deliverables as led by technical leads whilst following governance procedures, project assurance and legislation. The worker will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners and coordinate staff and internal resources, overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation and creating detailed progress reports for senior council officers and councillors.
The successful person must hold a project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 or APM or equivalent). We are looking for someone with a proven track record as an effective project manager, who has effective organisation and time management skills, effective verbal and written communication skills and who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
