Estates Caretaker – Full Time & Permanent Role! About the Company: My client is a Leeds based housing association that owns and manages thousands of homes across Yorkshire. The company is committed to providing high-quality, affordable and sustainable homes while empowering its customers and supporting the communities it serves. They are looking for an Estates Caretaker to look after one of their largest sites in Leeds. About the Role: As an Estates Caretaker, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of a large estate. Your duties will include: * Undertaking minor repairs * Conducting health and safety inspections and safety checks, including testing fire alarms, smoke vents, and emergency lights * Cleaning communal areas, including mopping and hand wiping down hard surface areas * Cleaning bin stores to ensure they are accessible and safe for our customers * Litter picking around the estate Benefits: * Permanent, full-time position with a salary of £26,000.00 per annum * Work van provided for use during work hours * 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00 to 16:00) * 26 days annual leave, rising to 31 days after 3 years’ service * Occupational pension, health cash plan and birthday annual leave * Option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits Please reach out if you feel the above is well suited to your background and your potential next move
