Job Title: PLC Engineer Location: Office-based in Belvedere DA17 with site work nationwide Salary: £65k – £70k + Private Healthcare, Pension + Expenses Industry: Power Control Systems About the Role: Our client, a market leader in the power control systems industry, is seeking a skilled PLC Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing control system commissioning projects within data centres and power generation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing design control and testing documentation, programming PLC and SCADA systems, deploying PLC applications, and troubleshooting all PLC and SCADA systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage control system commissioning projects within data centres and power generation systems. Produce design control and testing documentation. Program PLC and SCADA systems. Deploy PLC applications for control system projects. Test and commission control systems. Troubleshoot all PLC and SCADA systems. Be available for weekend and evening work (out of hours). Work 90% of the time in the office and on-site as required.Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience as a Controls Engineer (PLC/SCADA). Expertise in generator automation commissioning/development (Rockwell Automation, Ignition SCADA systems). Background in Electrical/Electronic/Automation.
