Commercial Property Solicitor – 1-2 Years PQELocation: Didsbury, ManchesterEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Competitive + benefits
I'm currently working with a well-established and expanding law firm based in Didsbury, Manchester, who are looking to welcome a Commercial Property Solicitor to their growing property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior solicitor (around 1-2 years PQE) who's confident managing a caseload and eager to grow within a supportive, forward-thinking practice.
This role would suit someone who's already gained solid experience in commercial property and is now ready to take on more responsibility, while being part of a collaborative and client-focused environment.
The Role
As part of a growing and busy team, you'll handle a broad range of commercial property transactions from start to finish, while also supporting junior colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the department.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Managing a varied caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, acquisitions, disposals, landlord & tenant matters, refinancing, and development work

Drafting and reviewing contracts, titles, and legal documentation

Handling enquiries, conducting searches, and ensuring all transactions comply with legal and regulatory standards

Preparing and submitting Land Registry and SDLT documentation

Working closely with clients, agents, and other third parties to progress matters efficiently

Supporting and mentoring junior team members and assistants

Contributing to business development through excellent client service and relationship-building
What They're Looking For

Qualified Solicitor with 1-2 years' PQE

Solid experience across commercial property, ideally including some or all of:

Acquisitions & disposals

Landlord & tenant
-
Property development
-
Commercial finance & restructuring

Construction and property tax (desirable)

Comfortable managing your own files and working independently

Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills
