Estimator Kent Approach Personnel are proud to be partnering with our geotechnical client to recruit an Estimator based in their Kent office. As an Estimator, you will be an integral part of the pre-construction team, helping the business to develop relationships and increase sales. We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly experienced Estimator with a proven background in geotechnical packages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for geotechnical aspects of projects, evaluating the scope of work, and ensuring that all estimates reflect the technical and safety requirements of each project. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to deliver cost-effective and high-quality solutions. Keywords: Geotechnical, Geoenvironmental, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, Ground Engineering, Site Investigations, Soil Testing Day to Day Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for geotechnical packages, including soil testing, foundation design, ground improvement, drilling, and excavation services Collating and reviewing design documents in order to produce accurate costs and estimates Ensuring quotations and work plans are in line with regulations and requirements, as well as certification scheme requirements Identify potential risks and cost drivers related to geotechnical factors, such as soil conditions, site access, or environmental impacts, and provide mitigation strategies.
