Financial Controller Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Controller to head up their Accounts Department at their Head Office in Buckinghamshire. As part of the role, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting-related activities within the business. Key Responsibilities Heading up a small team of 2 Weekly cash flow report for management Production of monthly management accounts which included balance sheet & profit and loss account Variance analysis for the monthly board report Journal preparation of accruals, prepayments, stocks, cash books, wages and depreciation Supplier contract reviews and monitoring Preparation and submission of the monthly VAT returns Weekly and monthly payroll processing Running month supplier payments Checking bank reconciliations agreed within the department Maintenance of Fixed Asset register Reconciliation of HP register Ad hoc analysis and preparation of figures for management and directors Full Balance sheet reconciliations. Building the company’s budget from bottom up for sign-off at board Providing finance data for KPI’s Governance of Purchase Orders and authority limits Must Haves Sage experience An advanced level of IT literacy including Word & Excel
