Business Analyst - Technology Consulting

We are seeking an experienced Trading Business Analyst to join our team and support energy and commodities trading firms in optimizing the Endur trading platform . You will work closely with traders, risk managers, and IT teams to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the platform in trading, risk management, and back-office operations Analyze business requirements. Troubleshoot issues related to trading workflows Ensure data integrity and facilitate user training Business Analysis / Project Delivery Experience Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery and business analysis. Strong BA experience including capturing business problems, value drivers and functional/non-functional requirements. Experience running workshops and user acceptance testing. Experience working in Agile project delivery. Energy Trading & Endur Experience ~ Experience of energy trading markets, with a strong understanding of one of the following markets: UK& European Power, UK & European Gas and/or Environmental products. A working knowledge of different trading instruments, including: Market Risk and risk Valuation Back-Office and Accounting processes Proficient with OpenLink Endur Base configurations/Reference Data configurations and the good understanding of the various managers in the tool. Endur configuration for Deal lifecycle, Confirmations, Settlement invoicing and scheduling. Experience in establishing and delivering progressively larger and more complex projects/services. Knowledge of energy trading and risk management (ETRM) Front Office and Operations business processes. Knowledge of the energy/commodity trading business – Power, Emissions, Gas, Commodities. Experience of financial concepts – P&L, MTM, Financial Risk, Financial Instruments (derivatives traded products), settlements etc. Experience of line managing resources and project managing teams. Experience of leading projects embracing the Cloud Technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP). Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall. Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent – STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) majors (preferred but not essential).
