Buckden Partners have been mandated by their residential real estate investment and management client, to support their search for a new Acquisitions Manager (Newly Qualified Surveyors). Role duties: Assist Investment Team in preparing a pipeline of sites across key geographical target areas that fit within our investment parameters. Maintaining a database of sites, researching locations, rental levels, preparing site assessment reports and generally assisting in the under-writing of site acquisitions. Assisting team in negotiation of terms with housebuilders/developers in the acquisition of sites and working through transactions to a successful conclusion. Assist in the maintaining of financial models, reviewing opportunity returns, and presenting the suitability of investment opportunities Responsible for regularly reviewing and maintaining the pipeline of sites to include cashflow and financial appraisal work, including the preparation and presentation of post-tax returns to internal Credit Committees. Experience: Working towards a RICS qualification preferred or Newly Qualified Surveyor (1-3 years). Property sales, lettings, valuation and development understanding. Strong research, quantitative and analytical skills (including modelling) An organised individual with good attention to detail who can produce high quality research and reports. Ability to build and maintain relationships with housebuilders, developers & agents. Good knowledge of UK residential investment markets and the fundamentals under-pinning the sector.
