Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner Location: Gloucester, United Kingdom Working hours: Monthly rota in advance Are you an experienced and compassionate Anaesthetic Practitioner looking to make a difference? Join our dynamic team in Gloucester and play a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care in a state-of-the-art theatre setting. The Role As a Theatre Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will work alongside skilled surgeons, theatre nurses, and operating department practitioners to ensure patients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout their surgical journey. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after anaesthetic procedures. Assisting anaesthetists in the delivery of general, regional, and local anaesthesia. Monitoring patients during surgery and responding promptly to any changes in their condition. Maintaining accurate records and adhering to strict infection control protocols. Contributing to the development of best practices and participating in continuous professional development opportunities.What We’re Looking For Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or Registered Nurse (RN) with anaesthetic qualification. Current registration with the HCPC or NMC. Proven experience in anaesthetic support within a theatre environment. Strong communication and teamworking skills.
