Due to company growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled (Electrical Bias) Engineer to join our client, a reputable Facilities Maintenance company. Based in the Northwest, this role involves working independently in a mobile capacity, covering various commercial properties, retail spaces, leisure complexes, schools, and more. Job details: * Undertake the day-to-day operation, planned maintenance, fault finding and repair, periodic inspections and testing of the complete spectrum of services found in a building services environment to include – HVAC systems, Electrical systems, Water Systems and Distribution and Building Management Systems (BMS). * Identify and record concise details of test results and actions taken when rectifying breakdowns. * Developing and retaining an in-depth knowledge of all critical systems both mechanical and electrical, and associated controls systems critical to the Critical Business Operations. * Ensure all relevant Health and Safety, COSHH and Permit to Work Regulations are adhered to at all times. Qualifications / Experience: * Minimum of 3 years working with Commercial electrical systems (essential). * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (essential). * AM2 or equivalent. * 18th Edition (essential). * Good organisational skills with the ability to organise others. * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. * Valid UK driver’s licence (essential). * The candidate must be willing to work evenings and weekends on a call out rota (1 in 14) * What’s on offer: * Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 * Shift: Monday – Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm (40 hours per week) * Pension scheme – 5.7% er / 3.3% ee * Holiday allowance – 31 days (inc statutory) * Provided is a Company vehicle (for work and personal use), fuel card, iPhone, tablet and full uniform * Overtime * Job security Please note: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
