This is a great opportunity with a growing business who design bespoke solutions for clients within the manufacturing industry, due to increased client demand they are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with strong experience in Solidworks.
Your new role
You will be joining a team of designers working on bespoke projects, designing and providing solutions for clients across a wide range of manufacturing services. You will produce drawings of parts/assemblies from customer specifications using Solidworks, source parts where necessary, including seals and bearings and other bought in materials. Using DFM/feasability assessments (can we make it/how do we make it/cost to make) from there provide 3D modelling facilities and support the engineering teams with site visits, offering solutions to clients where appropriate.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience in Solidworks, a background in engineering with problem solving mindset, able to work well in a team, hands on to deliver the best service to the client, from design to supporting on-site installations. Strong attention to detail and the ability to design systems and machinery with strong project management skills to manage customer deadlines.
