Copello are now looking for several Electrical Design Engineers on behalf of a Defence Prime, who are delivering on current gen and next-gen programmes.

This role does offer a generous hybrid working pattern, with travel to the North West being mandatory.

As an Electrical Designer, the individual must be proficient in the use of CAD to produce 3D models of Electrical Systems and Equipment Integration, such as switchboards and power units.

The role also requires the development of 2D electrical system diagrams and schematics, as well as producing putputs to support manufacturing, installation and testing.

Skills and experience

  • Relevant engineering qualification
  • Experience in Electrical compartment integration and Engineering standards at component and sub-component level
  • Knowledge and understanding of Electrical routed systems, in both 2D/3D
  • Proficient in CAD toolsets

Our client would also consider applications with experience in another high hazardous industry, such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace, Maritime and Automotive.
