Contracts Advisor
London – Hybrid
About the role:
- Servicing all business unit requirements primarily relating to general commercial and contractual matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and transactions and assisting the business in commercial negotiations.
- Supporting business activities including tenders and contracts for the provision of services to various clients.
- Advising and supporting the business on ad hoc queries relating to the recruitment sector.
- Assisting the legal department in keeping abreast of developments and relevant legislation on commercial issues affecting the full spectrum of the business and keeping the business informed of such developments.
- Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the business, understanding the business requirements, and engaging on how the Legal Department can best help them with their business areas.
- Managing low level litigation matters including responding to basic county court claims.

Who we're looking for:
Essential
- A sound understanding of all aspects of contract and commercial law best practice.
- Good understanding of the area of law that is relevant to the recruitment sector including, contract, data protection, marketing, IT law.
- Minimum 3 years in-house experience as a contract's advisor.
- Law Degree or equivalent.
Desirable
- An understanding of the Conduct of Employment Businesses and Employment Agencies Regulations 2003.
