Test Development Engineer
6 month contract
Based in Bolton

As the Test Development Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry!
You will be involved in:
- Creating and maintaining small to medium-sized automated test systems
- Development and implementation of test strategies
- Influencing products through ‘Design for Test’
- Creating test strategy documents, designing Interchangeable Test Adaptors (both mechanical and electrical elements), and software development of automated test sequences
- Opportunity to get involved with continuous improvement activities and the development of new technologies
Your skillset may include:
- Understand and interpret technical requirements and drawings in order to develop automated test facilities and procedures to support production operations
- Contemporary working knowledge of electronics
- Understanding of modern test techniques/methodologies (ICT, Functional Test, Boundary Scan)
- Measurement systems design experience (applicability of instrument, power distribution/grounding, etc)
- Experience creating Automated Test Equipment
- Experience using NI LabVIEW and/or TestStand
- Experience in Boundary Scan / XJtag
