Irlam Associates are looking for a Parts Technician at Heathrow Airport paying £31,000 on a Monday to Friday basis. Main Duties and Responsibilities: To identify and understand the requirement of the technician Provide prompt and courteous counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items Respond to telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner Issue materials to the GSE Technicians, ensuring that all paperwork is signed off correctly Purchase from local suppliers as and when required Pick and pack stock orders ready for delivery to outstations Ensure parts are correctly scanned onto ELC (in-house software used to manage the day to day business) Deliver materials/equipment/items to shop floor/work areas as required Updating Supervisor regularly with the pending parts status Check and Receipt of deliveries to site Unload delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner Drive company Fork Lift Truck (dependent on licence) Day to day organisation of a goods received quarantine area Notify suppliers immediately of any damaged goods or short shipments
