Civil Site Supervisor

Time 4 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a temporary Civil Site Supervisor for one week's work on a solar farm in Gloucestershire. This is a great opportunity working with a highly reputable family-run business who specialise in Top Tier Solar Cable Installation and renewable energy projects.

The role of Civil Supervisor to work on a Solar Farm is to start Monday 7th July 2025 for 1 week's work. As Civil Supervisor, you will be working alongside a main Solar Farm contractor who specialises in Renewable Energy and will be based on a solar farm working on a groundworks package with M&E components, which will include bulk earthworks and trenches. Due to the remote location and nature of the work, you must be prepared to get dirty!

As Civil Supervisor, it is not vital you have previously worked on a solar farm; however, you MUST have worked on Civils projects including digging trenches or utilities for cable installation. In your role, you will be responsible for groundworks operations, including personnel safety, overseeing daily work activities, managing multiple subcontractors, and communicating with the management team. In addition, the site supervisor is responsible for establishing site and individual goals, adhering to the site budget, including disciplinary actions, annual reviews, and acting as a role model in the field environment to ensure all procedures are followed as required.

Essential requirements for this role:

• Previous experience working on a solar farm is preferable but not essential
• Must have previous Civil Site Supervisor experience for this role
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• First Aid certificate
• CSCS
• M&E experience will be an advantage
• Previous experience working in civils, groundworks, roads, and trenches
• Experience in a supervisory capacity
• Some computer experience required, creating spreadsheets and reports using MS Office packages
