Day Rate: £450-£550 (Inside IR35)

Location: Bristol or Somerset (1-2 days in the office, transitioning to fully remote)

Duration: 6-month contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver high-profile projects within the utilities/energy sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent project management skills, a solid background in utilities or energy, and exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and deliver projects within agreed timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring effective coordination across teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues impacting project delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Ensure projects adhere to compliance standards, industry best practices, and business objectives.
  • Monitor project performance, report on progress, and implement changes as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering projects in the utilities/energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in environments regulated under IR35 compliance.

Working Arrangement:

  • The role requires 1-2 days in the office (Bristol or Somerset) during the initial stages of the contract.
  • As the contract progresses, the role will transition to a remote-first model .
