We are looking to recruit a Senior Data Insight Analyst. This is your chance to join a leading player in the pet health services and insurance industry, as they aim to secure the coveted position of the UK's #1 Pet Insurer.

Main Responsibilities as a Senior Data Insight Analyst
- This is a data-focused role requiring strong business understanding alongside the necessary technology (we use SQL and Power BI) and data analysis skills to be able to both build reporting solutions and to communicate reasons for KPI trends to senior stakeholders.
- Understanding and communicating how the key business metrics drive overall performance.
- Monitoring and reporting the metrics and their movements, both standalone and in relation to budgeted targets
- Independently delving into data to discover the cause of changes in performance uncovering actionable opportunities and threats
Core Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Advanced technical skills including Power BI, DAX, Power Query
- Advance SQL querying, ideally Microsoft (SQL Server) T-SQL.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI language M.
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS)
- Good understanding of Google Analytics and / Big Query
- Experience of working within a Pricing, Finance or MI department of a general insurance company
