Project Finance Associates 2-6PQE - International Law Firm

An international law firm is seeking to hire two associates into its London-based project finance team, one at junior level (around 2–3 PQE) and one at mid-senior level (around 5–6 PQE). The team focuses on cross-border mining and infrastructure finance, with work spanning jurisdictions such as Africa, Central Asia, Latin America, the US, and the UK. These are growth roles created in response to ongoing deal flow.

The work includes multi-sourced financings involving ECAs, DFIs and commercial lenders. Associates draft and negotiate loan agreements, intercreditor arrangements, and security documents. The team operates across a range of projects, with an emphasis on mining and infrastructure, and associates work closely with the lead partner and other senior lawyers.

Candidates must have experience in project finance and be familiar with core finance documentation. Experience with mining or natural resources, ECAs or DFIs, or emerging market jurisdictions is preferred. The team is collaborative, and associates are encouraged to contribute to client work, business development, and wider team initiatives.
