We are offering an exciting opportunity to support a range of individuals in a residential setting suffering from neurological conditions and complex needs.
As an Agency ITU Nurse, we can offer you:

Essential skills:
- Proven clinical competence in managing adult residents with tracheostomies and/or long-term ventilation in a non-acute setting.
- Ability to safely perform routine and emergency tracheostomy tube changes independently.
- Skilled in suctioning (open and closed systems), cuff management, humidification, and stoma care.
- Ability to assess and interpret respiratory function (e.g. SpO2 monitoring, observing work of breathing, secretion volume/type).
- Knowledge of common complications and how to manage or escalate (e.g. blocked tube, accidental decannulation, respiratory infections, aspiration).
- Competent in recognising and escalating safeguarding concerns.
- Demonstrates effective judgement in prioritising care and responding to emergencies.
- Familiarity with portable ventilator devices and associated troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide and support staff in high-pressure situations.
- Experience in mentoring and assessing junior staff against clinical competencies.
As an Agency Nurse, you must:
- Have a current NMC registration
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sponsorship.
- Have 6 months UK based experience
- Have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)
- Have a genuine passion for working in the healthcare sector
- Possess excellent communication skills and a good standard of English
- Tracheostomy experience is essential
