The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
We are recruiting for an experienced Storesperson to be based in our Hillington site on a full time, permanent basis.
As our Storesperson you will be responsible for receiving and recording goods and issuing of materials including plant and equipment.
You will also be managing our stock levels and keeping the stores clean and tidy at all times.
In addition to this as our Storesperson you will be specifically responsible for:
Stores & Yard Area

Ensure tidiness and appropriate segregation of all Materials

Stores Racking – ensure annual inspection and maintenance is carried out.

Security – control access to secure stores area to approved personnel.
Materials
-
Record and issue materials to operatives.

Receive and check delivery of goods against delivery notes and purchase orders, updating ERP system.

Collect materials from suppliers and deliver to site as required.

Maintain Stock level, Issue and monitor PPE including items that are date stamped and require re-calibration or replacement.
Plant
-
Arrange for the calibration of electrical instruments when they are due, upon return update Q-Pulse.

Highlight any plant defects or issues to Project Manager.

Plant repairs, Plant hire, and Plant Pat Testing

Inspect and tag access equipment (ladders, scaffolds etc.)
Operations

Liaise with Project Managers/Supervisors daily to ensure availability of Material and Plant for Projects.

Assist Project Managers/Supervisors where required.

Any other adhoc activities that IQA may require

Current driving licence

Tele-handler licence preferable or a current forklift licence

Have previous relevant experience working with a stores environment.
