My client is currently recruiting for a Technical AI Software Project Manager to come in and work on some very exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 5+ software & hardware projects, including deployments, developments, and integrations of AI-driven solutions such as AVIS.
  • Lead Agile delivery cycles, including Scrum or Kanban, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project schedules, resources, risks, and issues, ensuring alignment with client requirements and internal objectives.
  • Collaborate with Tech Leads to ensure technical oversight and appropriate trade-offs in design and architecture, particularly when integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows, and other advanced AI technologies.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or equivalent in managing software and AI-driven projects.
  • Proven track record in managing software projects that have shipped to production (ideally with React and Python stacks, such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
  • Experience delivering AI-driven projects and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG workflows, or similar technologies (ideally relevant to AVIS or similar products).
  • End-to-end delivery experience in Agile environments, managing sprints, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ability to pull up a GitHub PR and communicate effectively with engineers to discuss trade-offs and technical decisions.
  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g., defence, aerospace, healthcare, finance), and managing compliance/security accreditations.
  • Strong experience in scope and requirement definition, resource management, and budget control.
  • Experience working in fast-moving commercial environments, particularly in start-ups or high-growth companies.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and liaise with senior stakeholders, customers, and external parties.

This role requires security clearance or you must at least be eligible for security clearance.
