The Recruitment Co are currently working with a well-established public sector organisation committed to enhancing public service and ensuring the efficient operation of services. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Personal Secretary to join the team and provide critical administrative support to senior management., As a Personal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to senior staff, managing their schedules, correspondence, and general office needs. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that all day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently., * Managing the diaries and schedules of senior management, coordinating appointments and meetings.

  • Organising and preparing documents, agendas, and minutes for meetings and events.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and providing timely responses.

  • Drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other written materials.

  • Coordinating travel arrangements, accommodations, and other logistical support as required.

  • Maintaining accurate filing systems and records, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents for senior leadership.

  • Undertaking various administrative tasks to support the wider team and department.

1a. GCSE Maths & English A-C or equivalent AND 2 x A-levels or equivalent AND 18 months experience in a secretarial role to include typing, diary management and communication with all levels of the organisation, * 3 years’ experience in a secretarial role to include typing, diary management and communication with all levels of the organisation.

  • RSA/OCR Stage 2 (both parts) typing or word processing OR 1-year word processing experience.

  • Experience of minute taking

  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Points
