What you will do:
- Responsible for managing repairs, either in person or through subcontractors, respond to daily engineering issues and perform proactive routine maintenance and equipment inspection, being fully aware of Health & Safety legislation.
- Working closely with all departments, especially Housekeeping, to ensure the best service around our hotel.
- Show flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests' special requests and challenges that may arise during the day.
What you will bring:

- Great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
- English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
- Previous experience in a luxury 5* hotel is beneficial but not essential.
- ONC/HNC or City & Guilds Building Services qualifications.
- Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering qualifications.
- Experience within Building services & controls.
- Knowledge of BMS controls, heating & air conditioning equipment and the general functioning of equipment such as plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical and TV controls.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Risk assessments.
