North Lincolnshire Home First short stay is a registered Rehabilitation and Reablement service that provides time limited intervention and therapies to people within a 30 bed rehabilitation setting. We strive to deliver support that puts people at the centre of our services. Our aim is to ensure that a person can return home/appropriate place, feel confident and is safe to live as independently as possible.
Reablement Assistant post holders provide rehabilitation support to individuals following accident or illness allowing a return to independence. This involves following therapy plans and working in conjunction with other health and social care professionals.
The role also involves direct work such as supporting with moving and handling, attending to personal care needs and assisting with medication as well as maximising opportunities for social inclusion, assisted technology and emotional wellbeing.
The role offers a fantastic work life balance through a 28 or 32 hour per week contract. This operates on a rolling rota basis covering AM shifts 07:00 to 15:00, and PM shift 15:00- 22:00 and Flexi shifts 08:00 to 15:00 or 10:00 to 17:00. For those that would like more hours there is opportunity for working over time.
As a Rehabilitation assistant you will be part of a fast paced and developing service that has opportunities for further development and progression throughout this service. You will be working for an employer who cares about your health and wellbeing and offers confidential employee welfare, you will receive high levels of training and excellent supervisory and peer support.
