Contract Role – 12+ Months Outside IR35 South West London The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Senior CFD Engineer to join a leading Engineering and construction company based in South West London. Job Overview: As a Senior CFD Engineer, you will be joining a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services for the energy industry. With a strong track record of successful projects and a commitment to excellence, we strive to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. Some of your duties will include: Soil particle transportation and sand wave migration analysis. Performing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis using commercial software packages. Demonstrable experience in the application of single/multiphase flows, compressible flows, conjugate heat transfer, discrete phase modelling Masters degree/PhD qualified professional with min. Design experience working in the Oil and Gas industry with a demonstrated record of technical achievement in relevant project roles Experience in flow assurance steady state/transient thermal and hydraulic analysis will be a plus. What do you need to succeed? Qualifications and Software Experience Extensive knowledge in ANSYS FLUENT and meshing packages such as, ICEM, Gambit and SpaceClaim. Experience with OLGA, PIPESIM, specialised modules such as FEMTherm, slug tracking, compositional tracking Knowledge of programming in Python / FORTRAN /MATLAB will be an advantage.
