Maxillofacial Prosthetist/Reconstructive Scientist I am currently recruiting for a Maxillofacial Prosthetist/Reconstructive Scientist for a 6 month contract at a University Hospital in Oxfordshire. The role is to deliver, maintain and develop a high quality technical service for Maxillofacial, Restorative Dental and Orthodontic patients referred by their consultants as well as lead the digitisation of the laboratory. The role will be paying between £38 – £42 per hour, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hour contract). Responsible for the line management of maxillofacial laboratory team (including identification of training needs, staff development, recruitment to vacancies etc.) ensuring the staff within the team are supported motivated and developed. Budget holder for the maxillofacial laboratory, responsible for keeping within the designated budget. Authorised signatory for invoicing users of the service be they Trusts or other professional users and for the procurements of consumables and equipment used in and by the laboratory Oversee and be responsible for all of the work produced within the setting of the Maxillofacial Laboratory.
