Role: Fabricator Location: Bristol Salary: £30,000 Day Shift This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fabricator/Fitter to join an established engineering company based in North Bristol, who provide high quality products to the Defence, Clean Energy and Chemical industries. As a Fabricator, you will be preparing sheet metal and other materials and carrying out welding and assembly duties. This is a time of real growth with this business with opportunities to be involved in turnkey solutions for a range of clients in the UK, whilst being in a friendly and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Carrying out operation of industrial (gas/liquid) Fluid systems, setting bend angles and tube bending, deburring and inspection to ensure quality for conformance requirements. Studying and interpreting of engineering/Technical drawings and Manuals. Bom, Sampling of parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Ensuring production rates are meet and exceeded. General assembly, swaging and fitting to tight tolerances, assuring highest precision achievable carried out, and its quality. Resulting in minimal amount of rework and efficiency. Use of variety of tools: Hand held guns/wrenches, keys and torques. Riveting and use of taps and dies, drilling, hacksawing, measuring, working to strict tolerances. Use of rachet and facing off tools for preparation of tubing. Gap inspection gauges, Use of MHSU. Tube benders. Gaugeable preswaging tools. Background: Worked with various metals.
