We're thrilled to assist a rapidly expanding business in the heart of Maidstone in their search for an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will join a small but supportive team, directly reporting to the Head of Finance. The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll be an essential part of the finance team, handling a variety of day-to-day accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers
- Preparing management reports
- Handling VAT returns
- Conducting credit control
- Processing payroll
- Managing employee expenses
Desirable Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar finance role
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks
- Strong experience with transactional accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero
- A solid working knowledge of Excel
