About the role:
We’re looking for a Senior Brand Manager to lead day-to-day brand activity and ensure we show up with clarity and impact across all touchpoints. You’ll manage a small team and take ownership of how Volcano demonstrates its value in trade. You\’ll be responsible for delivering measurable impact across events, content, partnerships and merchandising where we\’ll rely on you to deliver both brand consistency and meaningful engagement.
What you\’ll do:
- Champion brand consistency and ensure all marketing activities and design touchpoints are delivered within brand guidelines
- Define and deliver the overall trade marketing strategy by channel aligned to both the brand and business (growth, revenue and volume) goals
- Decide on operational priorities and direct, lead and develop a high performing marketing team
- Lead development and execution of new product, new channel and brand opportunities
- Define and deliver campaigns and promotions specifically to support growth in the trade channel
- Set departmental OKRs and manage/ support your team to meet and exceed them
- Embrace your role as a leader both in the marketing function and across the broader business
Skills and experience desired:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing and marketing management roles (with some FMCG or F&B experience)
- Experience leading a team of a similar size (two direct reports while working closely with digital marketing and sales teams)
- Strong trade marketing experience, including content creation across all digital channels (both written and visual) and events/ activation expertise
- Experience in innovation and bring-to-market NPD
- Strong commercial acumen, comfortable leading commercial negotiations with customer and suppliers
- Knowledge of speciality coffee is an advantage but not mandatory
- Growth and big picture mindset that can align marketing activity and the commercial goals of the business
