Your role will focus on building meaningful relationships, ensuring their voices are heard, and helping them achieve their full potential. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting Children and Young People: Build trusting relationships and advocate for children and young people, ensuring their care plans reflect their individual needs and aspirations. Working with Foster Carers and Families: Provide guidance and support to foster carers and families, helping them provide a nurturing environment for children in care. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive network of colleagues, health professionals, educators, and other agencies to provide holistic care and support. Securing Futures: Play a key role in permanence planning, whether through adoption, long-term fostering, or supporting reunification with families. Empowering Independence: Support young people as they transition out of care, helping them build the skills and confidence they need for a bright future. You will need to have at least completed an ASYE in Childrens Services to be eligible for this post in Devon for a Qualified Social Worker.
