About Us:
The Piano Works are looking for full and part time fun loving, passionate and guest focused Barbacks to join our team and family. We have two fantastic live music venues in London, one located just off Covent Garden and the other Farringdon which are both part restaurant, part bar, part concert and full-on party.
The Piano Works are non-stop, late night, live music venues where nightly 8 skilled musicians interact with the audience and play their song requests. Non-stop live music features from 11:30 to 16:00 for our raucous weekly Saturday brunches and from 17:00 – 01:00, five nights a week supported by state-of-the-art sound & lighting systems and DJs from 1am till late.
If you are passionate about hospitality, music, guest service and fun and have ideally a year’s experience as a Barback in a high-volume restaurant, bar, club, live music, experiential, competitive socialising, events and party environments, then we want to hear from you.
What We Need:
Barbacks are the spine of the Team! We need a Barback who is ready to get stuck in, be ready to provide the bartenders with what they need when they’re low - this can be alcohol, garnish or even ice!
Responsibilities:
- Restocking the bar with spirits, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware as needed.
- Cleaning and maintaining bar surfaces, glasses, and utensils, ensuring a tidy and sanitary work area.
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks during peak business hours.
- Cut fruits and prepare garnishes for drinks.
- Organize and maintain bar storage areas, ensuring easy access to supplies for bartenders.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly assisting customers and directing them to bartenders or servers when necessary.
- Monitor and communicate low inventory levels to the bar manager for timely restocking.
- Collaborate with the bar team to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for customers.
