Who are we?

Court Residence is a small independent Aparthotel operator offering luxury accommodation to national and international guests. We are based in the centre of the historic town of Linlithgow in a stunning building that hosts our Court Residence Aparthotel, which we opened in 2016. The business has gone from strength to strength and to meet the demand for our services we are opening additional space in the town in two new locations. Linlithgow is located on the main Edinburgh/Glasgow/Stirling train lines, close to Edinburgh Airport and the M9 and M8 motorway networks, which makes our accommodation offer an attractive proposition for both leisure and business guests.

A new role, of Operations Manager, offers the right candidate an exciting and rewarding opportunity to drive and develop the business to new levels.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our aparthotel properties. Working alongside the owner Directors and our housekeeping, operations team and stakeholders, you will help ensure the smooth running of our growing portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of product and service with an emphasis on continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities of Role

  • Delivering effective and efficient daily operational management across all the businesses
  • Managing and leading the team
  • Delivering a great guest experience
  • Revenue Management, growth and cost control
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and regulatory requirements

Successful Candidates Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality/property industry.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven ability to drive operational excellence and achieve financial targets.
  • Sound knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • A passion for delivering guest experience and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to learn/navigate new operating systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to self-motivate and manage your own time.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
