The Technician will be responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of PV solar equipment systems in the UK with the support of the Team Leader.
Accountabilities- Undertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing
- Carry out corrective maintenance; fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all solar PV systems which will include mechanical and electrical diagnosis on Power Inverters
- Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of Solar Plant availability
- Provide out of hours and weekend response
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
- Assist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager
- Conduct training lessons to enhance other employee's technical knowledge
- Report all maintenance works carried out using computer based service reporting procedures
- Service Engineer with Solar PV background
- Troubleshooting and Fault Finding experience
- Knowledge of Power Inverters
- Computer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
- Willing to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short notice
- Valid UK driver's license and acceptable driving record
