People Advisor Salary: £35,000 Location: East Cheshire We are delighted to be partnering with this Global Technology business in their search for a proactive People Advisor to join the wider People team in a leading Advisory position. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Provide comprehensive administration and advisory support on processes such as onboarding, offboarding, changes in terms, holiday management, benefits, and salary/bonus adjustments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date People data within the HRIS, ensuring the integrity of all records. Contribute to the continuous enhancement of processes, policies, and documentation to align with best practices and legal standards. Act as an escalation point for complex queries, offering mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Support managers with employee relations (ER) cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and flexible working arrangements, while assessing and mitigating potential risks. Manage cases of long-term sickness, arranging welfare meetings, occupational health referrals, and advising on return-to-work plans or capability processes. Provide guidance on parental leave matters, including maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave. Lead and participate in key People Strategy projects such as Employee Engagement Surveys and external accreditations like Investors in People.
